Purchased with funds received from a grant from the International Paper Company Foundation. The Corinth Free Library received a grant from the International Paper Company Foundation in 1998 to produce a series of programs exploring the impact of the Hudson River on the people who live along its banks. River of the Mountains; the Upper Hudson in Story, Song and Play was performed in 1999. Musicians Brian "Chip" Chevalier and Michael Hadfield included original music created especially for these programs. The grant included funds to purchase a collection of books about the Hudson River. Historic River Mill Project Presented by the Corinth Museum and the Hudson River Mill Historical Society and funded by a grant from the New York Council on the Humanities, this site celebrates the 100 year history of paper manufacturing at the Hudson River Mill in Corinth, NY and contains marvelous early photographs.
